We offer pick your own strawberries, blackberries, and muscadines. "Pick your own" means just that... you go out into the fields, harvest the fruit off the bushes, and put it in your box.

"Great day out where kids can just run and play and you don’t have to chase them all around, It's not crowded and the best part...the playgrounds are free!"
Becky Warren
"It's really hard to find quality things to do with your kids... and keep them entertained without emptying your wallet. But this place is wonderful! There's so much to do and see. If you purchase some produce or delicious snacks, you don't have to worry because the prices are fair. I hope this place stays up and running for many more years!"

To ensure you have the best U-Pick experience, follow these safety rules:
1. If a storm pops up with lightening and thunder, please come in the market immediately. 2. Wear sunscreen and bug repellent. 3. Wear a hat. 4. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. You will be walking a good bit on a working farm. 5. Bring bottled water or buy some in the market. 6. Try to pick as early in the day as possible, especially in the summer. 7. For the latest information on U-Pick availability, check our Facebook page. How It Works:
When you visit the farm, come to the store and an employee know you want to pick your own. We'll give you picking buckets, tips and tricks about picking, and directions about where the best berry spots are. Sometimes we allow certain fields a day of rest to ripen, and prevent pickers on that field. After you pick, bring the buckets back to the market and pay for what you pick. We don't weigh picking buckets (or children, for that matter, in case they eat some), but we charge a certain amount for full gallon buckets or pro-rate for those buckets that are not completely full. Prices vary depending on fruit and quantity. For more information, call our store at (704) 922-8688. |
